San Francisco StageWorks was founded in 2002 as a non-profit theatre company with the intent to stimulate and strengthen the relationship between theatre arts and the community by demonstrating the value and social impact of cultural enrichment through performance, education, and artistic skill development. Making theatre accessible to as many diverse sectors of the community while encouraging new patronage and offering artistic opportunities to emerging theatre artists is always a primary goal.
